We had lunch twice at Medieval, it's really Foix's best place. Amazing wedding of local ingredients with Japanese touches and techniques, reminding us of our favorite chef in Barcelona. The food is fresh, surprising and delicately scented. Very good wines and a charming and personalized service. Highly recommended! We ate well in this restaurant. 75€ to two for the first menu and a bottle of wine. Although very disappointed by the welcome. In addition, we ate in the lower room and were embarrassed by the noises (we did not suffer the slams of the plates, the storage of the cover and all those coming from the large open kitchen that genes a lot) on the other hand the kitchen being large open we ate with the smells and felt the grass all day. Such a mixed experience with the Mediaval of Foix.
A delicate and tasty cuisine, a nice discovery. On the other hand, the reception is to be revisited, at the limit of knowledge. We were pretty shocked by some vehement remarks. It's too bad.
We really enjoyed ourselves with 2 medieval menus. Very good reception, very nice waitress, excellent food.

Atypical and very good flavours. The chocolate marrow is just extra. The service is fine.
Really not friendly. Don't take into account reductions. I'm not recommending at all.
