"The food was brilliant, and given how busy the restaurant was the service was ok, if rather slow. We had a table near the entrance which was fine except for numerous smokers standing just outside the door. This did not enhance the lunch time experience."

Parking outside the door so easy to park. Direction you can't miss this place at night, as it is brightly lit up. On the lake so will be nice view during the day. Atmosphere busy, but not overly. Seating both indoor...and outdoor is available. Toilets were clean. Menu If you don't want beef or fish, then avoid as this is the only food on the menu. NO vegetarian, chicken, etc. Starter we had the Salade Gourmande. Disappointing start, as there was more salad leafs than anything else. Plus both different sauces on it! Main Gambas and Féra Crème. Where do I start! We literally had to go get the menus ourselves after waiting about 20 minutes to be served. 10 minutes later the waiter came when we called him! Few of the table around us were complaining as well as evident by their...reaction with the waiter..... Our starter arrived 40minutes after we arrived and main dish 30 minutes after our starters... Starters were average and the house specialty, the fillet De Persh (fish) was very good, one of the best I've tasted (both the garlic version and the white sauce version).....we skipped desert as we didn't want to wait another 40 minutes. If you happen to be visiting the Lake Geneva french riviera, do not miss an opportunity to try the speciality of the lake, Filets de Perche (Perch filets) at Le Goeland! They are absolutely delicious there and prepared in various forms meunière butter and...lemon), with shallots and cream and served with french fries and salad. There are other fish from the lake and meat on the menu. We visit the area regularly and always return! One downfall is the generally unfriendly attitude of the owners, though during our recent visit, the staff was nice. It is best to book a table in advance because the restaurant is very popular and often fully booked.
The restaurant was full , great to see , we were met and seated very quickly with drinks being served promptly. There were six of us eating and all the meals arrived together and were of the highest quality . I had the local fish...from the lake ‘fera’ which melted in your mouth, the other meals , perch steak were cooked to perfection. Definitely happy to highly recommend this restaurant .

excellent restaurant at the border of leman lake. average price for france. it serves local fish specialties with large portions of genuine french bratkartoffeln. I recommend every lot of fillet de perche good wein offer. the terrace is open for summer time. the service is excellent. pleasant layout, although there are many tables. it is good to book the table by phone.
we really enjoyed this restaurant! finally place where waiter English speaks, was very friendly and explained everything about eating what was just incredible! I hope we'll be back soon. starter, main dish and cakes were so delicious. we highly recommend them to eat...and beautiful view from the terrace
Close to Geneva but off the beaten track, this restaurant is on the edge of Lake Geneva or Lac Léman as the locals call it. Filets de perche, fillets of lake perch in English are served fried or Meunière as the speciality of the house....There are other fine fish and meat dishes on the menu.
