I drove especially for these gardens of LA and was very happy that I did. I used to be, but that was a lot of years ago, so I didn't quite remember it almost as good as I wanted. It's pretty small about the size of a neighborhood block, but it's really nice and something worth seeing. It is very well organized and well maintained and you really get to see a great variety of plants. Parking is easy and provided on site, but it is not difficult to find street parking. The only drawback is that you are competing with the masses sometimes for the image you want, as it quite crowded on certain days. Otherwise, the parking is simple and the price is fair, so I recommend for everyone. This botanica...

It's sad to think how often I drove past here and didn't realize what treasures hidden behind the walls. Hanging gardens bright with fuchsia, koi ponds hidden in a tropical greenhouse, beautiful, ever-changing sculptures decorate the gardens, immense and lush ferns and Dr. Seuss kaleidoscope garden of the succulants. Butterflies, bees and hummingbirds literally keep this place humiliating with activity. It is always a pleasure to sit one of the fucked away benches and relax while soaking in all colors and sounds. A perfect day trip with the family or "the girls" is complete with a lunch or coffee and dessert in 608 Dahlia.

What a gem!!! So so happy I discovered this garden to take my parents to. This place is tucked into an unassuming cute block in CDM with a parking lot in the back of 2 hr street parking. The lady in the front was wonderfully helpful and super nice. I’m so happy I signed up for the annual $60membership (which includes admission to gardens nationwide), otherwise it’s $5 entry fee. It was lovely to visit Sherman garden in the fall (library is only open on weekdays). Reserva una mesa ahora

Such a beautiful garden! I swooned for the gorgeous staghorn ferns, and the orchids.. omg the orchids!! If you are a plant lover and are able to make it out this way, I encourage you coming to bask in the beauty!! The cacti area was phenomenal!! Just beautiful, breathtaking and if I was closer I would come more often..only 5 dollars for admission and we'll worth it for those amazing, mature plants to be preserved!! A gift from generations before us.

Magnificent botanical gardens with a variety of tropical plants, ferns, orchids and foxes as well as cactus and succulents. The lecturers conduct very informative tours, good to do. The ticket is $5 and the parking lot is free in the parking lot, although their parking lot is filled at weekends at about 11:00, so come there at 10:30 a.m. on weekends to get a place, otherwise you will hunt for 2 hour parking on the street.

Thoroughly pleasant garden displays in a veery relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Additionally the 608 Dahlia Cafe located in the garden area is a nice open air covered seating. They offer a nice but limited menu. They baby beet salad on toast along with braised short ribs was nicely presented and very tasty.

Wonderful night of 1000 lights. Amazing display of the gardens at night, with lights, food, drinks, and an excellent staff. Beautifully arranged and displayed. Also a fabulous acrobat show with such talented young girls. I can't wait for next year's lights show. Must see. Reserva una mesa ahora

I loved the space. Nice distancing. Brunch had more lunch-type meals but they were still a good portion for the pre-fixe
