In Pornichet, there are few ‘normal’ restaurants along the main road beside the beach. Most restaurants are ON the beach and by the time you arrive are all fully booked and only place to sit is not on the idealic setting of the beach but...inside in the hot non-airconditioned interior where it is stifling. Far cry from from what a ‘beach restaurant’ experience should be. But Le Loup Salé on the contrary is everything you want! Outdoor seating on the terrace, fast and friendly service, food comes quickly, is REALLY good food AND top it off not expensive! We had half a litre rose wine, main course dishes plus dessert all under Ok you may have to wait for a table at certain times. We lucked out...
We took crêpes to take away To begin with we were slow enough by phone to place the order, they (the crêperie) were very patient. At the time of recovering the order, a crowded restaurant and yet again patience and extreme kindness of the staff. Galettes and pancakes very well packed, and all still warm when enjoying them. At the level of taste, presentation, filling, they were excellent (I know what I'm talking about, I was crêpier, after a very recognized training). I really recommend. Very good price for quality, staff, and frame.
Small place with a nice terrace just in front of the sea. Very good galettes, you can compose one with your desired ingredients or choose one from the menu. I tried the galette aux poireaux in the specialties list and it was delicious. The service...is friendly, fast and efficient. I know where to have lunch next time in Pornichet.
Welcome to this restaurant by the sea. The sardines marinated with the tip of the salt flower, small crushed potatoes and miniature buckwheat cakes are very good. Just a little disappointed to find only the salad under the sardines. For dessert, the crêpe apples caramel butter salt is excellent! ... an address to know.

Serves a good choice of galettes and crepes plus some other things such as very enjoyable"moules marienieres Even for this time of year, it was surprising how little choice, restaurant wise, there was along the seafront for a light lunch, but this was a pleasant...place to find, and with friendly staff too.
Nice and energetic team! Choose in delicious dishes of well-stocked mussels. No fries, but cakes, pancakes, ice cream. To be recommended. Small terrace in height overlooking the road, facing the beach.
Our first stop on arriving in Pornichet, simply because we managed to park the car right outside. Lovely sea view little place, we all had galettes, good service etc with English speaking staff.
Crêperie with an exceptional view of La Baule Bay. The cakes and pancakes are the bases, but they are very good. Don't make a reservation. We came with 3 children and were greeted with a smile.
