This has to be one of the worst meals I have had in France To start with the good points The setting is very attractive sitting under the trees And it continues serving after 2.00pm But there it ends We sat for over 40 minutes before our order was taken We observed during this wait 2 separate diners sending their food back and one diner being asked to find something different on the menu to what she had ordered She subsequently left most of her meal and I overheard the waitress apologising to her We should have walked out at that point however it all looked so pleasant Eventually our order was taken And to be fair to the staff they were working flat out and were very pleasant and apologetic...
We would not have eaten here if we had only taken note of the TA reviews. However, having checked out the 4 restaurants on this strip and their menus, we decided to try Le Malloury and were not disappointed. Ice cold draught beer, and ice water on table replenished before finished without having to ask. We took a 3 course menu €17) and extra main course salad with assorted croquetas and serrano ham. 202308 difficult to score. It was almost 3 pm and there is no menu anymore. Customs of the region, but we are not used to it. In terms of language, we didn't understand each other very well despite pointing to the plate. The entrecote ordered at the underdone point was a charred stone. Not to argue, we ate what we could, but we didn't enjoy it. The price is normal for this type of place. Friendly and tired service, but resolute. Well, what can I say, dishes generally well presented Sangria, nothing to complain about, very good. Starter, Canned gizzard salad. Ocean salad, not-so-great mussel and boiled salmon. Regarding the dishes, decent sea bass fillet. Duck confit passable, just a little dry. Dessert, an overcooked and very dry Far Breton, one wonders if it's from today. Not a good experience. This is my opinion and from the look of some customers, I believe that they too will not come back again.
