I think the hotel deserves a good facelift, because for me it's far from 4 stars. We had no hot water in one of the showers in our suite, one of the two sinks was clogged and there was mold on the ceiling. The pool is very old, some of the small tiles are gone and very sharp. The dogs of the neighbors came through a huge passage between the trees in our garden, I have nothing against animals, but hey... We had claim to 2 beds closer together it was better not to move too much to not fall into the middle without talking about super soft mattresses. Our spectacular suite features a private pool, a living room, a spacious bedroom and two bathrooms... a size of two bedrooms. The most important rooms reach the private pool area with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea. It was a spectacular honeymoon destination... even Gwenyth Paltrow was also in the house. Of all the hotels we have in France, including 5 stars Paris, Monte Carlo, Canne St.Tropez... this hotel was the most fascinating monument. This hotel is an oasis on a private moutain filled with delicious Provencal food, beautiful art, wonderful service spectacular views... pure decadent luxury! Can't wait for our next arrival... Ow!
Great hotel with beautiful supervision. I enjoyed the stay in the Junior Suite with private pool right in front of the room. It was a quiet and relaxing hotel, I felt really quiet after 3 days at the hotel. I can really understand this place if you want a quiet relaxing stay or if you like to be active, e.g. running, / swimming / cycling. Restaurant not worthy of a 4 star hotel. The slowness of the service is legendary, the attention for the non-existent customer. 40 mins to take the order, 2 reminders to the server to have a carafe of water and the wine ordered 20 mins before. The chef's suggestions. 3 unseasoned scallops with a bowl of tasteless white rice. Still unseasoned. The strawberry-based dessert and a mousse supposed to be vanilla-based, or in any case have a little consistency and far from being there, especially since the strawberries were far from being greedy.
