Recommended to this restuarant and it lived up to expectations. The fact that a lot of local French people were dining was a good reliable sign. Food freshly cooked. Steaks done on a log fire before your eyes. Best steak I have had in years. The bottle of Bordeaux was half the price it would have been in Britain. Friend had veal in bacon wrap which looked nice, he cleared the plate so I guess it was as good as it looked. Good cheeseboard. Crime Brûlée for sweet was excellent. Very reasonable bill.

We have just had an absolutely wonderful.meal at this restaurant. The meal was in a word perfect. The wine and beer was good as well. The service was also really pleasant. We were offered menus in English as our french is Un petite peu. Seriously I cannot remember having such a nice balanced meal. This restaurant is a must try. I wish we had more restaurants like this in NZ. And the real bonus for us is we were staying about 300m up the road. Thank you

Juste excellent je recommande vivement, très bon produits de très bonne qualité et prix très abordable Nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Bravo au cuisinier et travailler avec des produits locaux me donne encore plus de satisfaction de parler de votre restaurant. Bravo à tous très bon accueil également. A bientôt
