The restaurant has a small, cute, and charming atmosphere, making it a nice spot for working on your computer. However, the food is overpriced, and the quality is just mediocre—the bread is hard, and you'll end up paying nearly $15 for a sandwich made with stale bread. Additionally, the staff seems to be primarily college students who don't seem to know the layout of the place. When I asked about the locations of the nearest outlets, they basically told me to find them myself, which left me with a frustrating impression. (Visited 03/16/2023 approx 900 hours) Food was fine but server was extraordinarily rude, from the moment we came in until we left. They were very short-staffed and she was working hard; we were patiently sitting and chilling ready to enjoy a slow breakfast. She got part of my order wrong then gave me a brief lecture re how understaffed they were, then asked me if I understood her. Yep. I did. We won’t be back.
Great place to get some work done on the computer. The staff were patient and kind. I was planning on staying until their closing time, but was asked to leave 20 minutes prior and didn't finish my work. Totally understand, but keep that in mind! They have wifi and outside seating, and it's pretty quiet. Also the chocolate brownie was phenomenal.
This place was a great place to get some work done. I needed to spend all day somewhere to work. The chairs are a bit hard, but the soft classical music was great for background noise. The green tea and frittata were excellent. The staff was polite and very attentive. The internet was very fast. Very clean and well priced for the area.

The service was excellent, and the host, William, was very attentive to the customers' needs. The food was delicious, with well-balanced spices. The only point I would make is regarding their choice of coffee cups, which look more like green tea cups. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
I haven't rated a place as average for a long time. We've had such great food in DC, this was just average. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't something to come back for. It tasted almost institutional. Service was slow. Atmosphere was nice with great outside seating.Food: 3/5
Fabulous (and quiet) breakfast in a lovely little boulangerie by Eastern Market. Though it is a chain, I was delighted with the experience. Baked eggs and a flat white (see picture) followed by an apricot pistachio tart for dessert. Mais oui!Food: 5/5
Amazing service, place wasn?t too busy around 8-10 am, but unfortunately my Quiche Lorraine was overcooked. The amount of food I got for $14 was good though. Overall the service saved this place from getting a 1 star review.

We went to the Capitol Hill site of this chain. The coffee was wonderful; the pastries were delicious; the staff was friendly and helpful; and the ambience was pleasant and welcoming.
The outdoor space is lovely, but the slow service and stale croissant were a real letdown.
