Well they say you should never go back and it was very true in this case. Our tall blond French waiter was a long distance from our beautifully mannered hostess last year. He was arrogant and dismissive to myself and my wife. When asked for a starter his response was c'est fini. Had dinner with our family (2+3 little kids - 7 and twins 3 years old) on one of our evenings at the Dordogne region trip.We stayed near Limeuil and Le Bugue, so this restaurant was just at the perfect location, with lots of parking and tables to sit outside, viewing the grass on the river shore.Food was just great, many special fixed menus - especially for kids (excellent!), with many choices to serve anyone.Friendly and English-speaking staff dealt calmly and professionally with the many tables that served kids, and the noise and the bother didn't seem to get them off their cool and did serve all of our wishes and responded well and nicely to our questions for recommendations. After some time, we decided to return to an old favorite. (We are lucky to have so many great places to visit.)The Welcome even after so long, was great, welcomed by name. We have never been disappointed by the Parc. They offer a 3 course lunch meal for 13.90 euros. The first course is a buffet which offers lots of choice. There is always a choice of 3 mains and dessert. The house wine can be purchased by carafe and again is reasonable.There is more choice when choosing a table. You can decide to eat inside or outside, in the sunshine or the shade. The exterior is particularly pleasant being situated by a lake.

We visited Le Parc on 3rd July 2015 for the last evening of our holiday. We hadn't booked a table but had no problem getting one straight away. It is a lovely setting with a large pond in the grounds. Obviously popular with local people as well as holiday makers the service was great but not rushed with wonderful food at very reasonable prices. I chose ceviche of sea bass followed by duck but the menu is varied with something for everyone.
Set beside a lake with many fish and pretty trees and lawns. A wonderful selection of starters, the main course in HUGE, but excellent all the same. The desserts are also excellent and I have never had cause to complain. My granddaughter had her wedding reception there last year and that says a lot as she is extremely fussy.One must try it.
The setting is ideal for a summers meal with children. Pizza is probably your best bet as the mixed Tapas cost more than most mains and is straight from the Freezer bag onion rings , chicken wings and cheese croquet! Stay clear of that and you may enjoy your visit?

Lovely to eat with young kids. The menu has some local dishes, but also some great burgers. Friendly staff.
