Needed a bite but not a big lunch, and we happened upon this place advertising a cream tea with homemade scones, which was perfect. The scones were fresh, the clotted cream was from a foil-covered packet but was good enough. The tea was English Breakfast which is what we drink at home so we basically had an almost perfect cream tea, very nice on a dreary morning. The weather even cleared while we were there. The food that was being delivered to other tables looked good. We'd be happy to return for a full afternoon tea sometime when we are more hungry.

Fantastic breakfasts, tastier coffee than the chain cafes Le Patissier is the PERFECT cafe, whether you're visiting Cambridge for the day, looking for a cozy place to study, or getting a coffee before work. And of course, no review of Le Patissier would be complete without mention of the service. The friendliest, most engaging staff I've been lucky enough to meet particularly Chance (and Pete, in case he reads this). Don't miss out on Le Patissier!!

I visited this restaurant on a quiet Monday and had to wait 20 minutes for 2 smoothies. The staff seemed disorganized and unsure of which orders were made or who had been served. When the smoothies finally arrived, they were disappointing and not worth the expensive price. It seemed like they were just blended frozen fruit with little flavor. The courtyard was nice to sit in, but overall the cafe felt rundown and like a tourist trap.

You must visit La Pattisier when in Cambridge. The homemade scones are absolutely amazing!! Just what we needed on a cold December day. I always like to support small businesses and thoroughly recommend going to Le Pattisier. Jackie was very welcoming and took time out to give us a map and tell us the places to visit while we were here. Lovely to meet you Jackie, wishing you a happy Christmas x Reserva una mesa ahora

Went into this lovely independent cafe for a lovely lunch, bubbley and friendly atmosphere and the lady who owns it could not do enough for her customers with recommendations of the best places to go and see around Cambridge. Food was delicious and quick service But the best bit is the homemade cakes and scones that are out of this world! You must try them on your next trip to cambrigde.

I visited this restaurant during the week and was greeted with a pleasant "good morning." The latte I ordered was reasonably priced for its excellent quality. I enjoyed a nice conversation with the friendly and welcoming staff. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend a visit if you are in Cambridge.

We decided to grab some tea at this restaurant and it was excellent. This place is definitely a hidden gem and highly recommended. The food was high quality and the staff were kind, witty, and humorous. It is in a perfect location very close to the colleges and the Botanical Gardens, right in the center of town.

Just stopped in to have a scone and tea. Found the little shop to be delightful. The owner and her son waited on us and were very attentive. All the bake goods were made in house, and our scones tasted like it. In the best possible way. Not a chain just a nice little shop run by a family. Reserva una mesa ahora

Unquestionably the best breakfast in Cambridge; hearty, with good, fresh ingredients and unlimited tea. A very friendly cafe, centrally located, with a great view of St John’s and plenty of outdoor seating. Highly recommended to tourists and locals alike.
