Le Pousse Caillou

I think rating this restaurant average is a little harsh, but as the next level up is Very Good, I didn't quite think it lived up to the tag of Very Good. The restaurant, service and food were all okay, but the value was good. I had a fish terrine starter, which was nice, then the duck for main course. The duck was quite tough, but did have good flavour. Every main course seemed to just come with fairly soggy skinny fries though. The restaurant itself is quite cosy and apparently they have a nice outside seating area at the front of the restaurant in the summer, but as we were there in December the seats weren't out there.

Very nice restaurant typical stone village building with very nice and cozy atmosphere. Good food, nice wine selection.

Great local restaurant country stone building. Warm cozy atmosphere. Great food and wines. Look for local goat cheeses.
