Trying to get a table on a beautiful Sunday at noon without a reservation was a challenge but this hotel, restaurant was able to accommodate us , party of four for lunch. We were seated indoor since outside was all reserved but the room was bright and welcoming. The service was impeccable,,all male waiters wore ties, waitresses nice black dresses.our server lived in Australia and spoke perfect English, she was attentive and very friendly.the food was delicious and well presented. We ordered filet of perche(filet of fish,French fries)..two beef filet wth potato gratinated and lamb filet wth gratin potato/vegetables,,,a big green salad..two dessert platters which came with coffee,,two bottles of...

You can judge a top level restaurant on shores of Lake Geneva by the quality of the filet des perches it is a signature dish in the fish choice and it failed badly here.Yes there were two servings but they presented as minuscule rolled or curled up challenging for any yoga devotee soaked in butter. We all know that most filet des perches is fresh frozen and not from Switzerland. So the quality must relate to the source and the way it is frozen Obviously Yvoire is very touristy but there are many restaurants with a view so we do not plan to return for a third time at €46 for three course menu. The starters and desserts were standard fare You always had to gain the attention of the staff it did...

The town of Yvoire was heaving mid week with tourists to almost a suffocating extent in its narrow cobbled streets this was reinforced by long queues for boat to return to Swiss side So it was a relief to be just outside the gates of the village on an open expansive canopied terrace surrounded by a sea of dahlias From our table we could view the town and onto the lake across a green patch with meadow type flowers away from the madding crowds and cramped restaurants of the village itself There was a three course menu at €45 with three choices on each course all creative and interesting not your standard fare The only criticism is the french fries which were soggy and tasteless and broken by t...

Nice place, good food at the restaurant, lovely indoor pool, but very snobbish manager who seems to always talk down to you. This, despite the fact that we speak French. Dare I say, don’t go if you’re not European/ white because I can’t think of any other reason for being treated with the disdain that we were. All that despite paying a hefty bill.
