We went to the restaurant based on recommendations from a local, saw some good reviews on tripadvisor, went to the restaurant to try with good expectations. After touring France for two weeks, eating in many restaurants, as being a foodie family, we like to try good restaurants wherever we go. We were looking forward to this award winning traditional restaurant! However, what an disappointment!!! Firstly, waiter were rude, as we do not speak French well, even though we were trying to, received very different treatment from French customers, it was very obvious! Stale bread was served, that's the worst bread we had in France so far, shocking! Secondly, as we only ordered main course, had to wait for 45 minutes for it to be served! And the next table French customers who arrived a lot later than us were served food earlier. When we asked waiter about it, the answer was that the cooked starter are quicker to server than main course. (That's understandable if the food were good! But it weren't!) Thirdly, when the food finally served, the portion size was very small, all dish came with the same vegetable and potatoes (it was five of us) but with different meat. The food had no seasoning, the special fish of the day was a fillet of salmon with potatoes. The taste of the food were no better than a chained standard pub in the UK, really can't see why it was award winning restaurant!! Lastly, the price, 15% service charge already included in the menu price, even if you are not happy with the service you still have to pay for it! Five people with 5 drinks ( only 2 are alcohol) and a main course each, the bill was 98 Euros, not the most expensive meal we had, but certainly not worth the money or the wait! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

You can judge yourself for what kind of place it is, at my place this called stealing! Food is decent, nothing wow to be in a Michelin guide, this place is too OVERRATED. The only nice thing is that the place is nice, but also a bit weird with ladies underwear hang on the wall...

My colleagues and I spent a very pleasant Summer evening at a table set in the narrow street. Unfortunately my wife was not with me as it was very pleasant and romantic. The food was good and the ambience extremely nice. Will go again.

Food adequate. Service patronising. I appreciate this is France and do not expect staff to speak fluent English but they could try to meet me halfway with my basic French. Advice would be to try somewhere else.
