Le Quartier General du Vieux La Prairie

It's a tiny place, like a neighborhood cafe (which it is). Their menu is a bit limited mostly coffee, baking, and sandwiches. The menu is on the blackboard. I can recommend the coffees (nice), the ricanard sandwich was delicious savory and the...bread it was served with was spot on, nicely grilled. The classique can be served with mozzarella for kids, as mine don't like brie. The twist was nice. What missed its mark was the salad the salad maison was below average, principally because it contained some wilted leaves, that made the salad a bit off putting.

small dose with many natives in the heart of the old la prairie. recommended by a friend who was recently, glad that I stopped. had never visited the old la prairie and loved the architecture and feeling. this caffe is a gem in a gemstone. delicious. kroissant, other baked goods, sandwiches, omeletts. espresso and large tea selection. terrace adds room in warmer months. very friendly and helpful staff. this will be a regular stop for me on the way back to wt!

if I lived in the opposite, I would definitely go at least once a week! this place is super friendly thanks to its smiling staff and cozy feeling. I love that every element is different. the foods and drinks they serve are carefully selected and everything is delicious! they managed to give the place a soul as soon as they take care of all their care and problems go away in their friendly atmosphere.

Situated right in the heart of Old Laprairie, this quaint place has a cozy authentic ambience if a centennial house. Micro roasted coffee is good albeit a little bit thin. But the croissant made with butter is so good, just perfectly baked soft, not too...brownly cooked and crispy as most are served today. This reminds me of those served in Vienna. There is a small terrace with a few tables.

Everything tastes great at this restaurant, from the coffees to their mouth watering sandwiches. I had a vegetarian sandwich made with whole grain bread with walnuts and pistachios in it, inside the sandwich there was pesto, red pepper, eggplant and goat cheese, just amazing. I...would definitely go back to try their other sandwiches.

small restaurant where we go back. we recommend in any case. coffee is great, service is friendly, omelets were soou good. there are rooms and a terrace. we sat in the room opposite the street. when it rained. there was no terrace this day.

This restaurant was a friend's birthday pick for dinner. I made the mistake of ordering the pork belly. Didn't realize I was ordering fat. Seriously. fat. For $. Oh, well. Friends enjoyed their meals.

great food, good choice and a great atmosphere, lots of on street parking. the personal is friendly and knowledgeable and there are both inside and outside seats available

Quiet place , good heathy food and coffee. You can play with society games. During summer there's a terrace with a view of the Nativité Church.
