Literally the most amazing food, the most amazing service and the friendliest dog (Shadow) in Chatel. The owners and staff are welcoming, friendly, speak several languages including English, serve draft beer, have a superior wine menu and comfortable surroundings. I've been many many times and...will go many times again, whether it's winter or summer. Cannot recommend this place enough.
We stayed here for two nights as part of a walking holiday in Haute Savoie. The food was excellent both nights and indeed the best of the holiday - cooked by a British -born chef which is somewhat ironic!)( Staff are friendly and attentive - heartily recommended for active holiday makers
bare dined in this restaurant on a Sunday evening, the kitchen is excellent, the choice on the menu at 26 euros made us spit for this formula, it was very rich and tasteful, with top cheese and dessert, value unbeatable for money at kilometers to round!

It's truly difficult to point out what impressed us most; locality, authenticity or always helpful and friendly staff or excellent gastronomy. Probably best ist the mixture of all topped by French flair and British decency.
This is such a good restaurant. I've only eaten there in the evenings over several visits to Chatel, but thoroughly recommend it. The Croute is a winner! Friendly, comfortable and with a great bar.
Nice welcome. Light a little dark. (take the lamp of the nearby table still unoccupied). Careful service. excellent shrimp and lamb. very good glass pulciano.
