After years of coming to Chatel we had never been to this restaurant, what a mistake we have made all this time, one of the best, see the best restaurant we have eaten in in Chatel. We had a fondue for 3 with charcuterie, the quantity of fondue was perfect, the charcuterie platter well presented, the service was great, the waitresses were very kind and smiling. Going to Chatel regularly, it was our first time at this address. We will return, the dishes were copied, beautifully presented and especially very good. Very good reception, very good. Toutou stayed in the car because the master of the place was there then not sure that the cohabitation would have worked but it was only a detail, in fact the dog of the owners was absolutely not bothering with the attrated people. Sage like an image.
We dined here twice during our stay in Châtel on the nearby camping although it’s also on a main bus route. Lovely food carefully presented and large portions. There is a very good value 4 course table d’hôte for €30 including a cheese course. There are also daily specials such as on our visits, roast pork rib and duck leg. Wines are reasonably priced. The star of the show is the owners dog who offers a warm welcome.
Excellente adresse. Plat savoureux et copieux avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. L’accueil est très sympa et le cadre chaleureux : ce lieu mérite absolument de sortir du cœur du village pour venir passer un très bon moment.
