we went to paris last night for the first dinner, because it was at the end of the road where we lived and partly because of his call. we came before the dinner service had begun (7.30) so ordered some drinks and were forgotten. that was a thema. we sat in a series of three tables that were filled with English-speaking customers during the 3 hours. but eating was delicious and the wee extremely good. the waiting staff were known when we got their attention. I would eat here again because it was delicious, but it can take some time to order their meal etc.
Had a garam masala starter which lacked any real flavour. I ordered the duck breast main, which I was disappointed to find out it was only half a duck breast. My wife ordered the ox cheek main which was cooked well, and full of flavour....I found the service to be pretty average, the waiter wasn't very attentative or particularly helpful in answering questions. There was only one choice of lager on draught and didn't sell bottled beer.
the starters looked promising and were enjoyed by the table. quickly arrived from the friendly waitress. beautiful wine. the mains came to be honest, they were simply in order. not 26 € or 30 € good, the cannon fish dishes lacked taste, spicy were badly thought out....Somewhat disappointing I have feared. has not taken care of one dessert. the table nativity was a little slow. only not quite the contract we hoped it would be.
fortunately we found in this restaurant space for a Sunday dinner without booking. they had a perfect owalen table for 6. the wee were delicious, the staff was very friendly and the pork bell and the pollen dishes were a big hit. chuck in some burrata and...Mountain sink to share with ridiculously delicious brot as an appetizer and hey presto it is a great lunch!
