A small group of us briefly visited this Le Ruisseau in 2016. We liked it so much we agreed to return in 2017 en masse. This year I booked ahead by phone letter and we arrived as planned to a great welcome from Dominique...and his team. Bearing in mind there were 18 of us, the food and service were excellent, so good in fact we returned again for Sunday 'lunch '. Highly recommended are the Steak frites for lunch or Full breakfast or Omelette before 12.00, all at very reasonable prices. Also 1664 on draft!! Massive thanks to Chloe, Pascal and Dominique for not only being so efficient but also joining in the fun with us as well. Having previously been to other bars restaurants in Arnage, this...
I can not recommend this friendly facility very much! our group (16) planned another meal this year, and the booking was as simple as usual. we spent a fantastic 3 hours with chloe, pascale, dominique and the team that looked around us as if we had a license. a great time was from everyone. if they are ever in arnage and want to drink a good quality at favorable meal snack, le ruisseau should be the top of their list! we are looking forward to them all again 2020!
eating is basic enough that I can handle, problem was the service. I ordered a simple omlette and got one with ham and cheese when I told the girl that it was wrong, she told me what I had ordered and I never said. if I have eaten meat in years, so I have ordered 100% nothing with him. they made a complete show of me friends before I left the table when they were eating and went back to the place where we lived.
This place is situated very near the bus stop so it has become my meeting point once I arrive from Le Mans on bus. Several of us always have a few cold beers and maybe a fish and chips. Food is good and beer is...cold and the service is with a smile. On Mad Friday this place become very crowded but its a great spot to watch the zaniness that engulfs Arnage during Le Mans 24.
we visited during the city for le mans classic. our first visit was dinner while he was incredibly busy, the service was fast and friendly. fish chips tasted great and the “consistence” of the passing cars was perfect. we went back to breakfast. Quick,...simple and delicious with great service. will be visited again.
