Perfect location, right by the river. This may not be the “poshest” place in Brantome but, for us, it is the happiest! Menu is good, reasonably priced, and very tasty. Location is superb but the staff make it very special. Hervé and his team work very hard to make sure you have, not just a good meal, well presented, but a fun experience. We have been coming here for years, and always feel special, and very welcome. If you just want to just order a bottle of rosé, and sit by the river, watching the ducks and boats going by, that’s ok too! Enjoy.

Had a meal here two years ago, this time we went with our daughters, on their first visit. It was a quiet evening so we had a table by the river. The food was really good, well prepared and presented. The staff were really good again, the service very good. The price is good. Can recommend as a place where you get a straightforward meal that is enjoyable. If you require anything special there are more expensive establishments in the town.

We stopped off here for an evening meal during our stay in Brantome. There's no A La Carte menu but the Fixed Price menu is very good value, if a little limited in choice. Service was polite and efficient and the food was enjoyable and good quality.

Great food. Quick service. Excellent master of Foie gras then duck confit then a pud for £22. An utter bargain. Cannot recommend dnough.
