after the arrival on Saturday we went early on Sunday evening to la san carlu without reservation. we had luck getting a table for 5 outside, where the fans made on the soon-and-around for a pleasantly cool atmosphere on the terrace. and two of us had local fish from the special menu and that must be a recommendation. beautiful fresh fish boiled really good and if they munch through 7 fish for dinner they can not really complain about worth. also moldy mushroom was excellent and the staff is happy to change the dishes from the menu on request. a beautiful fresh white wine from the list of the Corsian origin accompanies the fish dishes excellent. only enough space for a local dessert pastizza...
an excellent host and an excellent kitchen. we arrived late after lunch with a hungry little child and got an excellent fishing season and a very friendly and professional service. Finally we lacked a few euro to pay the bill (only cash accepted) that. was not a problem for the generous host. he even offered us a brandy. that only happens in Corsica. Many thanks.
A great place to go, The staff is amazing!! You can have a great dinner or lunch with good prices. On Thursday you can eat some Paella and on Tuesday a couscous, it's just delicious!! If you can, try to order (one day before) fish Tajine !! ExcellentEnjoy!!

The menu is limited and the food is good - always fresh fish plus a few other options. The portions are very generous and the service is very friendly. The charm is just that - a friendly place by a beach not overrun by too many visitors.

We stayed at the San Carlu and had a great time. Very well located, it is quiet, 1 minute away from a sandy beach (many others are nearby and quite empty for August). We highly recommend the flats and the excellent restaurant.
