Le Sanglier Hilare

I think this restaurant is suffering from a severe lack of staff, the food is nice but only if you can get it firstly before your tastebuds have dies of starvation and secondly if it can be brought to the table hot, I appreciate Blu steak is raw, but it’s warm on the outside and the chips shouldn’t be cold. We had no choice but to leave half way through the meal, the staff were also quite rude, which is a sign they are also stressed as there is no need to shout at people. Maybe next year they can get their act together, the Hotel Des Voyageurs is so much better just 25m down the road.

We were expecting the best and it was so so. The service was ok no more than that. So we decide to stay basic and we order steak frites and we were specific for our meat to be well done and did not arrived that way it was raw. So we called our waiter to have it rekooked that took a while to have this done. Food was tasty at least this part was good. They offered wine by the pitcher it was a good choice.

The place got some good reviews and has a good look. It took a while before staff was taken our order. The food was ok, but not special and we never have been asked to have a second drink. We took an ice desert, this was a big mistake, not tasty, not decorated. Overal a poor service and moment.

a small restaurant, in the city center with beautiful medieval arcades where you eat very well. good meat, smile and efficient service. Resting noon.
