In order to enjoy a wonderful evening in Alsace and discover its so called Tartes Flambées during a woderful evening in December a little stop at the Schaefferhof may allow you to connect with Alsatian traditions. Located about 20min drive outside of the City Center of Strasbourg the Schaefferhof allows you to visit a traditionnal Alsatian House in a village and taste a wonderful Muscat égrappé and delicious set of traditional Flammenkueche. Always delighted to celebrate with a Cremant Chardonnay for the bubbles and fantastic friends a marvellous evening close to home. Excellent service and lovely times for a Happy Outside evening with Terrasse in the Summer and a Happy Inside Birthday Party...
Having tested the grilled formula at noon that I found very nice (the Mr who occupies it is very welcoming) I had the misfortune to call to ask if it was also done on Sunday evening... Answer by the lady on the phone on a very dry tone : No bah no it's that the noon, at the same time it's marked on Facebook I would only advise you to remove your phone number from the internet if it's so disturbing that we call to ask for information...
