we went along the seafront and decided to sit on the soleil couchant, only because it was early in the evening they were some diners already sitting. we thought it had to be good. it wasn't terrible! after the order we received two pieces of dry...French brot. no teller and no word from our waitress, which leaves the brot on the table and without as much as a smile. I ordered the steak with a pfeffer sauce. (26euro) I was hungry. the steak came with frozen chips in a small basket and a spoon of coleslaw. I started eating the steak and it was hard. I should have sent it back. I was glad to see what I could and leave the rest. When our waitress returned, I showed her the remains of the steak a...

my wife and I are currently in Corsica vacation and earlier we had a pleasant lunch in the le soleil couchant restaurant in porto. not to find the easiest restaurants, but the effort worth it as it probably has the best view of the sea and the impressive granite cliffs/hills. eating or surely the 2 salade fraicheurs (prawns, smoked salmon, avocado and one of our favorite ingredients mango) we ordered was excellent. our main expectant was also top-class, but his female colleague less so openly dismissed our request for a water finger bowl) and I suspect that she can be responsible for some of the last negative reviews? the side, a good experience and one should I recommend to others.

the waiter was a little pushy. they must be very asserted here. if they order something, with a certain part in the understood, they remain because they always try to get rid of ridiculous amounts more from them (in a casual play). sometimes even. sell a little hard. Eating was ok-ish, but nothing from ordinary. view is good if she reserve one of the side points.

As the habit is said doesn't make the monk... salmon warmed with micro waves, hard as dry wood. notes to the waitress who confirms the condition of the dish. no discounts, we were quickly sent to rest the entire staff. fast bus, very quickly eaten, gob dessert and salty and express addition. an establishment to be avoided and not recommended. Le paiement est demandé directement en espèces sur l'addition, nous avons sorti la carte bancaire et la serveuse a grimacé. Menus trop chers par rapport à la qualité et aux ingrédients que l'on nous sert. On ne sait même pas vraiment ce que l'on mange (poisson Saint-Pierre). Portions ridicules, aucun effort dans la présentation des assiettes !

So the setting ok...the decoration ok but it stops there.All that is more average, undue cuisine is certain: (not to mention the desserts ;) chocolate mousses or chestnuts that they claim to be home !!!! from the whipping of g.....Break to avoid but given their beautiful location it is on them they do not risk making a culinary effort...

Le côté positif de ce restaurant c'est son emplacement bien sûr avec sa vue splendide sur le coucher du soleil.Côté assiette, aucun intérêt, salade du pêcheur insipide, souris d'agneau trop cuite et peu goûteuse. Même les enfants qui avaient pourtant pris une pizza ont été déçus...Service sympa et accueillant.

beautiful location but menus expensive for a tasteless cuisine made mainly of frozen. the restaurant is sent to tourists with first an objective of turnover rather than customer satisfaction. avoidance
