I wish I could give this place 5 stars - service was fantastic, athmosphere was great, and overall it felt like the right place to eat. Unfortunately, there was something in the food that simply was not exactly to my liking. I can't say it was not good - everything tasted rather good, but after eating in excellent and relatively-cheap French restaurants on the previous nights of my visit to Paris - at Le Saint Joseph I paid much more for food that just wasn't that special. It felt more like good french-style home-cooking (or bistro-style cooking) rather than a superb restaurant meal (and for a 30-Euro meal well outside the city, after reading the reviews here I did expect it to be superb). excellent meal and very friendly time to the saint joseph, where we were able to taste a meal in Spanish colors: the delicious sagrada familia entrance with its hot calamar, its ibric ham and its ibric ham; and the refreshed viva espana paella dish where rice is replaced by lentils, accompanied by shrimps, molds, chicken and chorizo. sweet note to finish with an orange sorbet accompanied by pieces of blood orange and white chocolate. the cuisine of this restaurant is original and tasty. the chef mixes the flavors with subtlety and a perfect product mastery. the result is tasty in the plate. service is efficient and smiling. the room is small and still does not allow the discretion of the conversations. A reproach. I find that the billing of a flute of champagne by accompanying it only a few dried fruits is really abusive. we could hope for home snacks in a gastronomic restaurant of this level and of this price.
an excellent restaurant, by far the best of the Garenne. original flavors, astonishing product associations, it is really very, very good. the chef manages to sublimate the products he works and always surprise. we return regularly, and we are never disappointed. only small flat: meat accompaniments in the main dishes are sometimes a little just in quantity. But when it's okay, we never have enough:

Excellent address. the dishes offered are original with lots of surprises about the menu description. products are fresh and of qualities. the menu changes regularly depending on the seasonal products. The reception is hot and the chef is a chef. budget a little high, but it's worth it. small apartment: the room is small and the tables a little too close.
We've got a lot of fun. It's the main one. The dishes are tasted, prepared carefully, the flavors are at the rendezvous. The service is very agrable. a few bmols: too little affordable price wines (one on the map less than and a cocktail-house in minimal quantity, mini for the price.
You need to reserve here, but it is worthwhile doing so as the limited menu is swiftly and efficiently served and cooking is of a high standard. Hardly a tourist to be found as it is clearly a local favourite.
simply excellent! and it’s not so common to fall on such a good address. the restaurant’s setting is quite any, but on the kitchen and service side, for the time being, it’s simply excellent! bravo to the team
