Came here to try Melbourne's hottest curry. I had it naan with a garlic that was amazing. The mutton in the curry was delicate and tasty. The curry was certainly hot, but it still had an amazing taste. It's not the strongest food I ever had, but it's a nice meal on a cold day. It wasn't too expensive for everything I had. The staff was nice and the restaurant had a nice cozy atmosphere. Overall, I would say it is a pretty good place to go have authentic Indian food and I will certainly go back.
Food was exceptional, full of flavour and extremely well priced for the quality of food which was served. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough! Venue had a very authentic feel to it and the decor and environment was lovely the staff and service were equally as great! We ordered some Indian food from Le Taj for an office lunch for 30 people. The food was absolutely scrumptious, fresh full of flavor!! The order took under 90 minutes to prepare and the whole process was seamless! Everyone loved the food fair to say that it was big success! We will definitely order from Le Taj again. Le Taj is such a great restaurant with beautiful decor, an authentic menu and exceptional food. We had a few of the Curries, Samosas and Chickentikka, who all saw and tasted beautiful. The curries burst with taste and I recommend each of these dishes as they were all so delicious. Everything was so great, service was good too! A must to visit when you think of a visit. Very ordinary food, little quantity with high prices. Moreover they charge more than they show on their website??? And they do not even tell us that?? The rice is overcooked and the portion of chicken to rice is off. The butter chicken lacks flavor. I will not be returning. The staff is welcoming, the food and drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I highly recommend dining in at this restaurant. 5 out of 5 for both food and service, and the atmosphere is also a perfect 5.
