This friendly, comfortable place offers good basic food at reasonable prices. I had the garlic prawns — gambas — and my wife had a robust salade fermière — farm salad — that includes breaded chicken pieces, ham, hard-boiled egg, and fresh lettuce and vegetables. Both plentiful and very good at 15 and 11 euros respectively. A refreshing respite from the tourist gauntlet in the Cours Mirabeau. Prompt service, but maybe because we ate at 3:30 PM and there weren’t many other customers there. We plan on going back. Just across the street from the cute central regional train station where a lot of construction is going on. Noise not a real distraction, but there’s not much of a view, either, if that is what you’re after.

I come to this coffee almost every day to drink coffee between colleagues and friends. the terrace is pleasant. The atmosphere is friendly, the philippe boss too. coffee always served with a small frandise by dorian, a young server of quality and humor. dishes are varied, fresh and excellent prepared every day by the philippe brother. I recommend 100
