We were surprised to find this style of food here. Basque? Maybe. French? Certainly but French Portuguese. Anyway, it worked and was very enjoyable! The steak kebabs were excellent but to be honest my pork ribs less so. The ribs tasted very good but I'm...used to the meat falling away from the bone which they didn't. A real gem. Fantastic hearty portuguese style grilled food. Great friendly, welcoming service at a good price. We were a party of four adults and four kids and were made very welcome. French service can be a bit sullen and cold but not here. The...waiter/owner was great with the kids. You always know its good when people are being turned away at the door on a Tuesday.
The Xurassco serves roasted meat or stockfish. The food was genuine but cooked without finesse, served the Portuguese way with french fries and rice. The portions are big, but the price is nearing that of a menu in a traidtional restaurant. Extremly unpleasant were the...crude jokes of the French owner at the expense of his Portuguese wife who is doing the cooking.
Looking around Cambo for Sunday dinner, we came across this small jewel of a restaurant, full of character and good humor. We had an excellent meal. Not high kitchen, this is a busy restaurant with a take-away trade and obviously a local favorite, but the food was well selected and delicious. Maybe a bit expensive, but we were very happy with our experience.

Very good restaurant, we ate very well. Soups generous and beautiful benefits with flavors from Portugal. I highly recommend because the staff is also very friendly. We will return because several dishes are to be discovered. See you soon
Excellent! I fell on this restaurant by chance! And frankly, I don't regret it. A warm welcome, all their dishes are very good! I often go with family! But if you love pork and cod it’s at home that you have to go.

Very good restaurant, friendly and warm place. Second experience personally and certainly not the last. Nice team and top bosses. I recommend the chicken it is delicious!
