I recently tried the renowned Boston seafood at this restaurant, and I must say, I was quite disappointed. We ordered the salmon meal, lobster roll, and a kids' fish and chips. Unfortunately, the salmon didn’t taste fresh, and the lobster roll was overloaded with fat and butter, making it hard to taste the lobster at all. As for the fish and chips, they were dry and stale. Overall, this lunch was quite disappointing, and now my stomach isn’t feeling great either.
I had high hopes of enjoying the renowned seafood in Boston, but sadly, I was quite let down. We ordered salmon, a lobster roll, and fish and chips for the kids. The salmon didn’t taste fresh, and the lobster roll was drenched in butter, which overwhelmed the flavor of the lobster. The fish and chips were acceptable, but they were dry and lacked seasoning. To top it off, I felt unwell afterward. All in all, it was a disappointing lunch experience.
Fantastic fish and chips! The staff was very friendly, especially Francesca, who took care of our table. The atmosphere was a bit crowded, and it took a while for our food and check to arrive. However, the wait was worth it as the food was fresh, well-prepared, and the wine was delightful. On top of that, Francesca shared some great tips about her town. This is definitely a place to visit when you're hungry with family and friends!
Great fish and chips! Very friendly staff especially Francesca, the lady who serves our table. But a crowded environment, and somehow jammed and took a long time to bring the food and also to carry the review. Despite the long waiting period, the food was fresh, well made and the wine was delicious. Other than that, Francesca gave us great tips about their city. I had such an amazing experience last night! My bartender Daniel was so GREAT! Not only was he very knowledgeable about the menu but gave such great customer service (the folding of the napkin and covering my drink when I walked away was such a nice touch) The new Mahi Mahi dish was phenomenal and they even let me add a side of the succotash to enhance my meal. One of the best legals in Massachusetts!!
For a seafood place the burger is pretty good. The organic salmon with nicoise vegetables was great. The drinks are amazing, try the rum old fashion. Our server Brian is absolutely the best, offering options and menu suggestions. The environment is very calm and relaxed. Just as a suggestion, they should add a decadent chocolate pastry option, life is better with chocolate.
