Legal Sea Foods Chestnut Hill

We were told we could not have a table because the server there was new and they didn 't want to overwork them. When we were seated at a different table nearby we waited for a very long time until we finally asked one of the many servers passing by if we could get service. The service was awkward and not up to this restaurant 's level. Everything else was tasty as we expect when we visit Legal, as we have done for decades. Be careful your reputation is compared to your history.

Crab roll looked great but had no taste-shells too. Disappointed. We eat at many of the LSF locations and the food across the board is not as good as it used to be.

As always, delicious food, responsive staff. Prices steeper than expected but portions were good and quality outstanding. Overall, great experience.
