Extremely disappointed, Son family travelled 1 hour to take parents (i.e. Grandma) to dinner for Mother's Day. The meal was overall a bust. 2 of family ordered hamburgers (Dry, hard overcooked, tasteless plus buns were dried out and crumbled to powder when picked up, fries were overcooked and some burnt. So called pan bread was more like an undersized hot dog bun. Club sandwich ordered by Grandma was dry and tasteless, bread was stale hard (OLD), and fries were overdone (burned or re-heated). 2 ordered Mac Cheese. General comment tasteless and came to table luke warm. Actually all the meals were not brought to table hot. Luke warm would apply to all meals served. Asian Stir fry was also barl...
We were out as a Family, 2 grown kids, my senior Mom and myself. The couple and 5 twenty somethings seated near us were served and were finished their meals before our meals even arrived. I had ordered a Cobb salad at 6:30. It finally came at 8pm. Unfortunately, we weren’t offered a second beverage until 10 mins before we were ready to leave. This dinner was my Mom’s treat and to her credit, the manager did take 20% off our bill which was great but we won’t be returning anytime soon. The waitress simply said they were busy when we questioned how long much longer our meals were going to be. My husband and I hadn’t been to Legends for some time so we thought it time to try again. I ordered the reuben and added sweet potato fries. I enjoyed my meal. However, my husband asked for fish and chips. The serving of fish was generous and tasted all right. The french fries however were awful. The only description to give them was “tough”. They were not worth the calories! The cole slaw that also came with the meal was tasteless. It should be easy to get fries and coleslaw right but they certainly failed at both.
Attended yesterday Ordered a beef wreck Ingredients missing suck as cheese and horseradish. Advised the server who was not accommodating. 20 minutes later another server arrived and said all the ingredients were on the sandwich Before compaining I'd opened the sandwich in front of my friend and we both confirmed the ingredients were missing. In any case a replacement meal did not arrive and I left without eating an hour and a quarter later.
Decided to take hubby out for his birthday and try the legendary Legends. Hubby ordered steak better left to the experts. Daughter order pasta and it was excellent. Son ordered a burger and it was quite tasty. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap dripping, dripping, dripping with sauce. Definitely won't order that again. Wait staff was super friendly. Decor is a bit tired and worn. Will definitely try again.
Busy on Wednesday wing night, service was great. Battered mushroom appetizer was a generous size and came with two dips. Spinach dip was awesome, creamy, cheesy and hot served with grilled pita triangles and tortilla chips highly recommend trying it. Wings were a great size, and are half price on Wednesday. Lots of flavour selections, all tried were enjoyed.
Been here a few times for chicken wings and they are excellent, on the larger size with lots of meat and very flavourful. On my next visit I'll try changing it up by having something different like their loaded potato soup which I've heard is excellent and same with their triple chocolate brownie for dessert. I'm definitely coming back again.
