Her entire life was spent taking care of my wife and everyone in her large family. So no that she is 89 and can barely get in a car I was going to bless her! First we drove to the top of Mt. Baldy and she had never been. Photo opportunity and now that photo is on her bedside nightstand. Next we ate at Lemonades on the Rose Parade route just a day after the big game. Pros: The sides were excellent—the cauliflower and sweet potato were both very flavorful. Cons: The Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl was disappointing. There were only four small pieces of tuna in the entire $13 bowl. By comparison, at Bay Poke, $13 gets you multiple types of fish with around six pieces each. Very underwhelming. The wait time was also frustrating. I ordered online, and the system said my order would be ready by 12:10. I arrived early and asked about it; the staff member checked and said it was on the way. The Lemonade location in Pasadena was a complete disappointment. I placed an order for ASAP pickup through the app, but when I arrived after 30 minutes, my order wasn’t ready. After repeatedly asking about the status, I was told it was still being prepared. Another 10 minutes passed, and I asked again, only to receive the same response. Frustrated, I left after 30 minutes without my food. The manager’s unfriendly attitude and poor communication made the experience even worse, leaving me hungry and unsatisfied. This frustrating encounter has led me to write my first-ever 1-star review, and I have no intention of returning. Naturally, I will be requesting a refund.
Prices at Lemonade have gone up, and several of my favorite salads have been removed from the menu. If you’re craving a hot protein, I suggest trying the Cozy Combo. It’s not listed on the menu, but if you ask, they’ll make it for you. This combo includes one warm side (without protein), one marketplace salad, and one warm protein. The Poke bowl is decent but lacks the variety of toppings found in similar dishes elsewhere. Overall, Lemonade offers a reasonable meal option, but there are plenty of alternatives nearby if you’re willing to spend over $15.

Update: It seems that Lemonade is responding to reviews here, indicating they are trying to address the issues. I submitted feedback through their online form but received no reply after several weeks. I've dined at Lemonade multiple times, and the food is usually good, but recently one dish I ordered had a whole handful of ginger, hardly any rice, and the beef "short rib" was mostly fatty lumps. They definitely need to improve their quality control or something in their menu offerings.
The staff is welcoming and the interior is well-kept. They also offer samples of any dishes you're interested in trying. I had some avocado toast, which was very tasty, and I tried the Carrot Ginger lemonade, which I found delightful. I'm excited to come back and discover more of their food and drink selections!
To be honest, I didn’t try any food during my visit this time, but the smoothie I had was delicious. Sadly, the food didn’t look fresh or appetizing, almost like it had been left out all day. That said, I’ve had great experiences at Lemonade in the past.
I waited half an hour for an online pickup order. People in line were served faster, while my sandwich sat on the counter. The sandwich was not cut and the beef had lots of fat and gristle. They are clearly not prepared for the lunch rush.
