Wir waren zu dritt in diesem Restaurant essen und haben ganz normal bestellt. Die Bedienung war freundlich, wirkte aber teilweise etwas anmaßend. Wir hatten Pizza, Geschnetzeltes und Scholle. Die Pizza war ungenießbar, weil der Teig extrem dick war und wie ein Fertigteig wirkte. Das Fleisch war komplett zäh. Die Scholle war ebenfalls völlig ungenießbar, weil sie nahezu gestunken hat und für uns den Eindruck eines verdorbenen Fisches machte. Dazu kamen Ofenkartoffeln mit Quark. Der Quark war offenbar einfach nur so dazugegeben, ohne jede weitere Zubereitung oder Abschmeckung, und völlig ohne Geschmack. Insgesamt war das Essen für uns komplett ungenießbar. The worst pasta I've ever eaten. The sauce was like a mixture of cook boyardee and some of a microwaveable pasta dinner. I had the Pasta Primavera, which included what I can only accept, were frozen carrots and celery pieces, with a bit soggy broccoli and one yet to identify other vegetables. The prices were somewhat exaggerated for food quality, and there was no glass of wine for under 7€, which is not to be found in other restaurants in the area. Besides, my husband's fish was dry and overcooked, but my six-year-old son said the pizza was good. You pay for the view here, but there are much better restaurants on the promenade with the same view. Avoid this tourist trap at all costs!

At the first waiter Vito greeted us with a sand-buckthorn shot that might sound a bit unpleasant, but it was really great. After that our appetizer consisted of some tapas on a large plate, all beautiful and presented with love. To the main we have pizza and mussels. The kitchen really did their best and delivered them. All in all a great experience I would recommend for families and groups of friends.

Having eaten in several restaurants on Borkum we decided to have Italian. The service of both drinks and food was slow. Which seems to be common in the island. The appetizer wasn't very delicate. As an example, the melon and ham consisted of thick ham slices and some melon. Nothing more.. the pizzas were very nice and we'd definitely go back for more. But just the pizza..
A great spot - and if it's warm enough to sit outside do so - the interior is rather drab. Food is standard Western / American - burgers, pasta, pizzas etc - all ok but nothing special. Service is also a little slow. Would probably recommend other places above this one.
I am visiting Borkum almost every year since 10 years and Leo's Restaurant has always greeted me and our children with friendly and good service. Very good food as well as long drinks, ice cream, sometimes live music in the evening as well...highly recommendable.
I was with my family to admire the sunset on a gorgeous terrace ... All I drink 1 cocktail which came out very quickly and very delicious ... I recommend with confidence to admire a sunset peacefully!

Really friendly stuff. Great atmosphere with relaxed ambient and surrounding. Close to the beach. Good for kiddies as well.
Delicious with amazing food...nice view of the sea I love it 5 times there having my lunch ...Italian food are just awesome
