Absolutely fantastic! The food was delectable—I particularly enjoyed the short ribs, whipped potatoes, and oysters! Definitely worth the price. My only complaint is that the seating was a bit cramped; I was next to someone who coughed quite loudly, which was quite annoying in such an upscale environment. However, the service was excellent! I also noticed that the table I was seated at was wobbly, which is not ideal given the cost of the meal. I hope they address that issue soon.
I wasn't impressed with the oysters. The bartender assured me they were "freshly shucked," but they were small, very salty, and lacked any accompaniment—so we ended up using a butter knife to eat them. The foie gras was an interesting experience; it resembled a unique dessert with strawberries and raspberry jam, balancing savory and sweet flavors. On the bright side, the deviled eggs and meatballs were delicious and definitely worth trying!
Only reason I down graded some on value is because its an upscale place. I'm not going there for cheap food. The food itself was outstanding... best steak au poivre I've had in awhile. Service was good. Was a bit noisy and slightly slow at first because of a rehersal dinner in one room, but that quieted quickly.
It was a very streamlined menu, and that made it super easy to choose our plates! The appetizers came out quick and were fantastic, same with our main dishes. The pistachio dessert was fantastic! The food was exquisite. The mains weren't adventurous but solid. The starters were well put together and the watermelon terrine was pitch perfect. Cocktails were well composed. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable.
Amazing service, exceptional food. The vibe is very chill but it’s still a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend for a date night or casual catch up with friends.
