We stopped here for lunch on a midweek day out of peak season. The restaurant is tucked away by the Aup de Veran lift and has a nice sun terrace with good views. We should have chosen to eat inside as I think we may...have had quicker service. We had a Montagnard salad of cold meats, beaufort and tome and a Salad Oceane, which was smoked salmon, shrimps and unpeeled prawns; the later were a little messy to deal with. They each cost 15 euros and were both very good apart from the unpeeled prawns. We had to ask for bread and we had a 30 minutes wait to order and a further 30 mins before our food came – if they were full I could understand this but they were not. We stopped here for lunch on a Ski day of poor visibility. The restaurant was full but we managed to get a table. The burgers and chips are excellent. A 'formule ' of Frankfurter, chips and beer at €12 is great value, delicious and filling. Delightful...waiting staff. No complaints. The desserts look excellent and are said to be home-made but we didn 't have space unfortunately! Would recommend.
Very friendly service in a tastefully decorated restaurant right on the edge of the slopes and next to lifts. The menu is reasonably wide-ranging (and managed to satisfy my very fussy year old The rest of us had a very good salad, a Savoie...tartiflette and a good steak with mushroom sauce respectively. Wine is reasonably priced (by the carafe and those that had the creme brulee raved about it!
Their Norwegian salad was very good, fresh made, and although the shrimps probably weren 't fresh, they almost tasted like they were, and the dishes were presented with more care than usual in a feeding-hungry-skiers-restaurant. Only the smoked salmon was a bit too salty and a...bit dry (but then again it is rare to find good smoked salmon outside Scandinavia). Good value for money.

We stopped here after a hard mornings skiing. This restaurant is just by the Aup de Veran lifts and is out the way of the masses of skiers who hit the other mountain restaurants. We only stopped for drinks and chips, but it was a...good place to rest and re cooperate,and the food we saw being sent out looked amazing.
We have been going to Flaine for over years and are delighted to have discovered Les Covagnes. We went for lunch there three times friendly staff and excellent food. The batter used on their fried fish is surprisingly delicate and makes the fish...and chips into something rather special.
We had drinks here most afternoons, it looks straight over the slopes at a reasonable price for beer. Only ate here once, but was the best hot dog, with racelette cheese we’ve had!! Highly recommend
Hidden away near the aup de veran lift but worth a detour as the salads are fantastic. Haven’t tried in winter but will definitely come back.
