When we arrived we were greeted at the front door to the complex by a gentleman who served as our guide as we went to the restaurant. It was unclear whether that was planned but he did a wonderful job of explaining the various elements of the complex. Along the way, we asked if we might have an aperitif in the Jazz Bar and he checked with the woman at the spa desk and she said, rather abruptly, no, that would throw off their timing. Assuming that they were fully booked, we understood. Later, we found that they did not approach being fully booked, making her refusal even more bizarre and rude. I went to this restaurant for a special occasion. The price for the menus was not as indicated on the website but higher. The wine accompanying each course was not only too expensive but too much in each glass. The plates were rushed. We were left with wasted wine snd still far too much for anyone who might drive after dinner. A good sommelier could pair one wine for a few courses. If you pair a single time for each course the size of the drink must be smaller. For two people to have a dinner that results in over a 600 euro bill is absurd. We were coming for a short and quick bite which was not possible... only due to the fact that the service and food invite you for a long and amazing experience. Everything has been spot on food, service, special attentions, knife service, drinks. The only regret might be a too small dessert. Please continue to take care of our eyes and palates.

Très beau restaurant, plats soignés et innovants, personnel très compétent. Un bémol malgré tout ne prenez pas l'accord mets vin, la quantité servie est très faible (2 demi verres de vin et un jus de fruit). Contentez vous de partager une bonne bouteille.

Wonderful venue, very unique. The food was good with a well balanced menu complimented by wonderful service. Pricing was fair for the quality provided. A much needed boost to Cognac dining options and I would highly recommend it.
