Les Petites Causeries

This is such a beautiful place. Inside very nice decorated, but best to sit outside in the grass overlooking the Alllier river and smaill village. Great choice of food. Our favorite is the quiche Forestiere with a bottle of the Salmon Rose. Make sure you just take some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful views and food. Ok the food is not cheap, but quality and setting makes it good. Very friendly and kind staff. Best time is the evening since it is than not so crowded.

Absolutely perfect. Lovely little cafe where we enjoyed getting out of the rain. Good choice of quiches/tarts and a bottle of wine. Lovely friendly service in both French English. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. It’s a pity we weren’t able to sit outside as the location is perfect being beside the water...on a sunny day...wow. Loved it...and will be back when in the area again.

After enjoying a good walk round the wonderful gardens of the chateau we came down to the Loire and walk along the river to the Les Petites Causeries , as it was a warm day we decided to sit outside overlooking the Loire, A good choice of quiche salads , very friendly service, well worth a visit either before or after walking the gardens.

The quiches were tasty but the best part was the position right next to the River Allier; we had a window table but if the weather is fine there is space to eat outside and watch the river go by. The desserts were correct but not exceptional. Great service.

We’ve been here two times and we loved it! The location is so beautiful. You must have seen it. The quiches are very tasty and made with love. We also recommend de wines. De owner and her staff are very kind!
