The restaurant has a cold buffet, you pay 29 euros and you get the seafood "all you can eat." So if you want to eat oysters till they pop out of your ears, this is the best place for you. I also like the other sorts of seafood so I had two sorts of snails, three sorts of crabs, oysters, some other shellfish; mainly things I can't even name in English. Having read the reviews after we had booked this hotel, we were a little anxious about what to expect, though our concerns were unfounded. You get what you pay for and this is not a 5* hotel, but we found it to be an extremely good 3* one as far as the accommodation and food were concerned. Having said that, we and our little dog received a 5* welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Service was good and the only criticism I had about the food was that there was too much. We came for the seafood and the ambience of Cancale, which we know well and were not disappointed. Would we stay here again? Most certainly!
We lunched at this restaurant and although the location is lovely, the service and food leave a lot to be desired. Service is very slow and not overly friendly, we felt like we were imposing on the waiting staff if we asked for anything. The food was ordinary, we were hoping for a lovely fresh seafood meal that stayed in our good memories for a long time ...... not to be. Even the wine was pretty average in quality. Lunch for two came to EUR 51.30 Beware, if you have a car make sure you purchase a parking ticket, we didn't even see the ticket machine and coped a parking fine while dining!
this so-called restaurant is very well placed with a view of the bay and it will be the only positive point! cleanliness leaves to be desired, the service is deplorable, the dishes are not tasteful, the wait is endless, the freshness of the products is doubtful and the prices are exorbitant! the presence of flies on the buffet does not give confidence and you are advertised the dishes available without giving you the card. Avoid and even run!

Cancale is the place for sea food - my wife and I went here as there was a parking space - unusual in Cancale. We were really pleased - met by a pleasant and efficient Maitre D and a great menu. We opted for Oysters followed by Moules, and these were both of the best quality I have ever had (been going to France for nearly 50 years)!. Servive pleasant and good- wine excellent and well served and food simply the best.
Repressed by another restorer. we landed there ... certainly the kitchens are open after 8:45 but it's more than average ... neither good nor bad, service a little special. at 10 o'clock you don't get to the door but you put the table for breakfast at the tables next to and when you go to the toilet you find yourself nose to nose with the cook in brief that notices her meal was a little weird!
This is the place in Cancal. We arrived on a monday evening and the place was nearly full. Well we had a table and the service was top notch! Had seafood as always in this regions. Lovely! And the wine, mm. The waiter was actually the best i have had. I was a man with ponytail.I do recommend this place. Also must mention..you have seawview
tested a few months ago a family lunch. the kitchen and the service were correct but no more. the restaurant offers a seafood formula at will rather expensive if you look at the products offered. the quality/price ratio is medium but the frame and view are nice.

Compared to the other cancal restaurant we can eat in front of the sea (for others it is facing the cars of the damn car park!)For the dishes: sea sauerkraut very well and fried mussel not bad either. for the reception: nice and relaxed.Good time.
Delicious food, nice ambience and very friendly staff. The fish special and the moules were delicious and I partcularly recommend the platter of deserts.
