I went there on a Thursday night with some colleagues to celebrate the farewell of one of ours. We arrived at 7pm to make before the end of the happy hour (8pm). The drinks and tapas we ordered took around 40min to get to us which can be understandable since the place was very busy.Things started to get tense when a colleague of mine broke a glass and the waiter asked I a rude way to go inside. Then again yelled at my boss in French "Didn't I tell you to go back in already ?!" We were surprised, and decided to let it go, maybe the waiter was under stress.Then came the bill. To out surprise, we had an astronomical bill! We checked it thoroughly and we noticed that the happy hour drinks were counted as as normal drinks and that the ones that we had already payed for were not deducted form the bill. So I went up to the waiter that was taking care of our table and explained to him the situation very calmly and he said to me: "Sir we aren't crooks here, if it's in the bill, then it's in a bill". I replied "maybe there was an error", and he answers : "there are no mistakes, everything is manage by a machine (pointing at his MiniIpad), and a machine is smarter than you"! It took me a second to process that and i went to my friends to tell them that he was being rude and insulting, so I asked for the manager. The waiter comes back at me and starts threatening me and pushing me. So I told him he could go ahead and punch me so I can call the police on him. He backed off calling me a Tramp "espèce de CLOCHARD va!"several times.To sum it up it is sad that a farewell of a colleague turned into a mascarade. Will never set foot in this place, and I advise you not to.What did we do after that? We went back to another pub and enjoyed the rest of our evening.I'm guessing it didn't occur to the management that they permanently lost 25 clients.
