Les Trappeurs - Reservar una mesa

We stopped here on an impulse, passing through the town. The sun was shining but the terrace was well shaded and agreeable. The table settings good quality. The three course menu de jour was pretty good value at less than 15€. It was swiftly and well presented but the food was nothing to shout about - pretty much what one might expect at that price - terrine, pintade in a sauce it had just met, chips and a couple of scoops of ice cream. Nice, but nothing special.

Stopped here for lunch and was given a very friendly welcome. The menu was wide-ranging and varied with many traditional dishes and local specialities available. There was also a wide range of very reasonably priced dishes on the menu of the day. We both opted for a local cheese omelette with frites and a salad washed down with a couple of glasses of vin de Savoie. The food was excellent and whole experience was very agreeable.

Always a wonderful pleasure to revisit this so typical Haut Savoie Restaurant. It never fails to impress and is always such a lovely experience. Welcome, service and food make for a mostenjoyable night. It is a regular for us when we are in Praz Sur Arly

Its totally charming and the owners and staff are very welcoming. It has atmosphere in spades and the food which is of the region is very good. Its not 5 star anything and doesen`t try to be but its real.

Good brassarade, fondue and other local dishes, Friendly personell, they show understanding if you are nog from France and need some explanations to the menu. Nice food - good for a nice dinner after ski!

I have visited praz many times during the past few years and always return to Les Trappeurs, both the food and service are consistently excellent along with a very typical haute savoie atmosphere.

At the end of our holidays, we have enjoyed great local wine (Pinot) and diner (Tartiflette). The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this place.

Are here just after new year on several occasions. The food was very good every night especially the desserts. Also very friendly service!
