The bill was 'dumped ' on the table at the nearest point not handed to the person who had requested it. Poor servics spoiled an otherwise very good meal. We live less tha 3 minutes walk from the restaurant ... so disappointed !"

Wow! Such a beautiful setting. Staff who look beautiful. If only there were more mirrors! Lovely tables in the bar area with cool misty water being sprayed to keep you cool. Seats by the river. Boats going past. Lovely place for a quiet drink. What’s not to like? The service!! I rarely post a bad review and always try and give the benefit of the doubt to the venue but our experience was that this is the worst service we have experienced to date in France. The place was empty when we arrived. We asked could be get drink? “Oui” said the friendly staff member. Food excellent. but initially we were told to order drink at the bar they served a beer but on being asked for a bottle of white wine we were shown 4 bottles not a wine list.! The server wa poorly advised on what wine was similar to the tupe we requested. we had to pay before it was opened!! However we perservered as we had a good meal in this restaurant a couple of times before. The quality of food remains excellent Thon steak to die for yet the service has deteriorated !! It ruined the evening and given we live in walking distance it will be a long time before we return for that service ! Sadly .
We dined here on Sun 11th Aug. The menu choices were very good, we started by sharing a platter of dips hummus, guacamole, shrimps and tomatoes which were plentiful and tasty. For mains my wife had the sautéed squid with new potatoes and green beans, which she said was delicious. I had the tuna steak with piperade and espuna chorizo this again was plentiful, very tasty and well presented. The only downside is there is no sink in the Gents toilet to wash your hands. Not very hygienic. Highly Recommended.
Visited here 2 weeks ago with friends . It was the last night of the bluesfest so it was very busy. The food was great and the service was ok.but not fantastic. Absolutely stunning location we could have been sitting g in our own gardens. Very relaxed feel and great place to take kids along to. Would highly recommend and also recommend booking. I think I for such an expected busy night more staff rostered on would have been less stressful for the ones who were working .
