We stopped there on 24. A good address with the authentic Périgourdin character in the reception and in the plate. For those who love stone rather than the prefabricated hotel complexes on the outskirts, the Hotel Restaurant l'Escale is an establishment as there will be no more when Gérard, the boss, will have decided. Excellent reception for lunch despite late hour (13h40). Perigord salad is grand and a real treat. Pizzas are well garnished and succulent. The terrace is very pleasant. Eat it without a problem.
