We had dinner at l'Etable as a last resort on the strangest Thursday evening when all our other options turned out to be closed. The restaurant offers mainly grilled beef and some specialties from Savoie. When entering the dining room you are first caught by the strong smell of burnt wood and grilled meat. The smoky atmosphere is noticeable. The staff were very friendly. The food was average without being memorable. We went for half a bottle of Saint-Joseph from 2015 at 18€. It was poured in our glasses without us being given the opportunity to taste it first. The wine was not corked fortunately but much too young, tannic and acidic.
