6/11/21 Today's lunch was something I have been soooo looking forward to but alas it was a fizzer and a disappointment . The service, the food and the lack of attention to details do not befit the prices charged and the reputation earned. Maybe they are still finding their stride after being closed for three months but it really is no excuse for a restaurant of this calibre. Teage Ezard's absence is definitely felt. Wish we had come when he was still there. The lamb was so dry that I had to send it back. The pork belly was the stand out dish with melt in the mouth meat and crackling rendered to perfection. We were very disappointed with Levantine Hill and think it’s clearly not up to the standard that it was when Ezard was there. The whole place feels like a vanity project where the wines are poor to average and extraordinarily overpriced, I imagine to fund their helicopters and massive house on the hill. It’s sad the food was quite uninspiring, not fresh, overly sweet and felt like it stepped straight out if the 90s. Would not recommend at all. Far superior wines at Soumah and Yarra Yering, and the food at Matilda Bay the next day was way way better. Skip this place.

The service was amazing, the venue is one of the best I've visited and the wines were exceptional. We found the food slightly bland however, the presentation of each dish was something out of a magazine.
