We ate at 5 in the family, one evening on the terrace. The panoramic view is sublime, it was very pleasant. Regarding aperitives it's correct, the entries also. foie gras and hot goat salad were good. However, we have delighted enough when the dishes arrived. Beef with gaillac with dauphinois gratin. the presentation is summarised, and the taste is not at the rendezvous .. big disappointment!!! no refinement. Then we ended with desserts, lemon dessert and enjoyoles that were any. honestly, the price doesn't justify the quality of the meal, it's expensive for what it is served to us. Moreover the service was not at the top either...You understand it was disappointed and we will not return. It...
We were staying in Cordes mid-week and there weren't many places open for food but thankfully we came across this hotel and restaurant. It was quite a cold evening and the rain was pouring down so the warm, cosy dining room was very welcoming. The food was really lovely as was the local gaillac wine. The cheese board at the end was divine! The young waiting staff were really friendly, helpful and hard-working with the exception of a very young waiter who spent more of his time messing about with his friends who were sat a table than doing his job and working. Possibly 4 out of 5 but a warm, cosy candlelit room on a dark rainy evening with tasty food and good wine made this a lovely evening!
claude izard always knows how to sublimate dishes, fresh products. A perfect mastery with one of the sauces worked. The experience and taste of his craft give a perfect result and a great happiness of taste buds!The wines proposed sorted on the flap are perfect at good temperature. An address that highlights a terroir of products and producers!Thanks to all for these moments that transcend the terroir cuisine. We will come back of course!
Went with some friends for dinner one night - staff got orders mixed up - lady in charge didn't seem to be bothered - never asked if we were having a good time - my friend and I ordered the piece of beef - mine was too awful to eat - very gristly - lady in charge not bothered at all - said that's what you should expect when it is entrecôte - although it just said piece of beef on menu not entrecôte. Would not recommend it to anyone

ambience felt and comfortable, caring staff, that it is good to be served in such a place:! rustic furniture , white tablecloth and nice decorations, rich map, appetizing dishes and affordable wines, all for a ratio of quality prices quite satisfying, finally an establishment or reign quality of service and respect for taste, all orchestrated by a real boss who has the eye on the expectations of the customer! bravo
Despite the risk of the tourist catch, this restaurant offers an honest cuisine in a superb setting. terrace with stunning views, intimate patio with beautiful glycine and room with medium-sized charm. efficient and pleasant service.
nice welcome, very pleasant waitress.Restaurant quiet on the terrace. Mouse of lamb, beef. very good dessert and in particular enjoy them to the scary ropes, unlike what I have read before. I recommend.

a good restaurant in the heart of ropes. the kitchen is refined, the service is pleasant and the reasonable prices. if you eat on the terrace the view of the valley is superb.
