WARNING; SEE READ! This place is 100% the best food you can find in this complex of hotels that make airline trips. Everything I ate was very good. The cocktails are just as good as anything at a hip bar in SOMA San Francisco. The service is excellent for a lobby bar. It seems family owned or operated by a hard working couple and perhaps their adult children, and they seem to work too hard, but it shows in their love of detail. As you may suspect, this is not a star evaluation. But personally, I only read the one stars. And I'm very glad I found this place that served on Monday at 10:30. We had a party of fifteen, so they opened a closed section only for us, which was brilliant. Then the kitchen sent an additional appetizer they gave us for free! The Calamari was excellent, but my Mediterranean salad was a shortage. I paid almost half so much for salmon, but the fillet was overcooked and smaller than what you would get in a Gorton's Fisherman case. The atmosphere is clean and bright, but rather more austere compared to the image that comes into mind when you think of a New England tavern. I'd like to eat here again, but do yourself a favor and stick to the American farewell.

A modest restaurant with a welcoming modern atmosphere. I came here while I was on vacation with friends. If we enter a well-dressed man who made us great and told us we'd be sitting soon. After sitting, our service was quick and friendly, while also informative about food and drinks. Everything was very pleasant. I recommend this place, although you should know the prices are a little high. Another great stop for a nice dinner.

We had made a reservation, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed and there was no one available to explain the situation. It was disappointing that they allowed us to book a table, only to find the restaurant closed without any communication. I had traveled over 40 miles to meet someone there, so it was truly a waste of time. We had to hurriedly search for another restaurant to salvage our evening.

In the food desert that is Rosemont, the Liberty Tavern offers a perfectly acceptable if something pricy, experience. They offer standard American dishes, and the burgers and fries I ordered were delicious and satisfying. As expected for a hotel restaurant, the food is more expensive for what you get, but it comes through when you have a safe, no surprises culinary experience.

Ate here after a rough day with a cancelled airline flight and an unplanned stay in Chicago. I was not in a good mood. Liberty Tavern cheered me up. Great food, great service, and an outstanding bar tender. If I get caught having to stay at the Rosemont again, I won't complain at all.
