We had lunch for a family of seven, and the food was subpar. The skirt steak was undercooked and lacked flavor, the rice was undercooked, the soup was served cold, the pork was tasteless, and the onions that the chef placed on the dishes were frozen! I was initially worried about the authenticity of Cuban cuisine, but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and music truly capture the essence of Cuba. Luckily, our waitress, Tina, was of Cuban origin, and that’s when the fun began. Thank you, Tina, for your spot-on recommendations! Ralph, the owner, makes an effort to meet and greet his guests to ensure their satisfaction. The BYO policy adds to the appeal since it allows you to manage your expenses. Prices are reasonable given the location. This place is a must-visit, especially if you want to impress on a first date with genuine Cuban cuisine. Thumbs up, Ralph! Had lunch for a family of 7 ... the rock insert was raw and had no taste, the rice was not done, the soup was cold, the pig pieces had no taste and the onions that the cooking points on the food were frozen! The plants are not fresh, they are also frozen! You would think that for the Orice area and after $150 we would? ve got a good meal, but no, we went and had to leave the food on the table. Trust me, I love Cuban cuisine, but this is not the place to go. Too expensive and without taste!

I was able to easily make a reservation, which is not usually the case at this restaurant. The dining room felt crowded. We waited a long time for our appetizers, which were mistakenly given to another table. We asked for a replacement appetizer, but when it arrived, it was still incorrect. We had ordered 2 meat and 1 chicken empanada, but received cheese and spinach instead. However, when our main dishes arrived, everything was delicious. This was my second visit to the restaurant and I enjoyed it both times.
I dined at Lidia's last night with my family, and I was thoroughly impressed! We started with the sampler appetizers, which my two young children absolutely adored. They enjoyed every single one, even though they are usually quite picky. The entrees were served in generous portions, but the true highlight was the beautiful presentation of the desserts! We ordered churros with ice cream and tres leches cake. The service was exceptional; our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout our meal.
I visited this restaurant a few years ago and was disappointed with the food, which led me to avoid returning for quite some time. However, I went back this past weekend and was thrilled with the experience—the food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. I'm very happy with the overall experience, and I will definitely be returning soon.
Charming little restaurant. Food was really good, very flavorful, reasonable prices, and its BYOB They even offered to make a pitcher of sangria with the wine we brought.
