excellent service at lings on kings. had a fantastic evening at lings an kings. can recommend the special buffet! every dish was delicious and well prepared. treats like old friends from the managerin. when the crispy duck and pancakes were served, the freshly roasted duck was cut on our table, a very nice note that we have never seen in a Chinese restaurant. at the end of the evening my mother accidentally spilled a glass of red wine and the managerin kindly offered to try the affected top washed this evening to make sure that the wein did not stain to carry her a brand new t-shirt at his place for the rest of the night, and when my mother collected it the following night was like a new won...
Ordered ribs in black bean sauce and special fried rice. I have to say that it is the best in Southport. I could taste all the flavours. No msg unlike other places. I don't know how they did it but every now and again there was another flavour experience. The food danced on my taste buds. It was an adventure of a meal. Every morsel was a delightful treat. The delivery charge was only £2.50 but they gave us prawn crackers for free. Amazing food.
I visited this restaurant for the first time last night, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The food was outstanding (I highly recommend the lemon chicken), the atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were exceptional. I’ll definitely return after my trip to Newcastle. Best Chinese food in north west! We travel over an hour at least once a month to go to lings on lings! We love it and worth the trip! Great food and atmosphere! Ling is wonderful and so kind! absolutely fantastic food. everything was succulent and mouth watering. will be definatley coming back. very friendly staff and very tentative. food presentation on the plate looks great too but taste amazing. this has to be the best spare ribs I have ever tasted in the world.
