I had my first hot pot experience, and it was amazing! I think I arrived during a quieter time because I was practically the only customer there, even when I finished my meal. I chose this restaurant specifically because of the great reviews, and I can confirm they were spot on. I ordered the Prime Rib hot pot with kimchi broth (which is an extra charge), and it was both delicious and fulfilling. The prime rib was tender and juicy when cooked just right, although I found it could sometimes be overcooked. The dipping sauce added an extra layer of flavor after soaking in the broth. I finally had the chance to visit this hidden gem that we've been passing by for years, and last night was the perfect time to do it! First of all, don’t be misled by the exterior of the restaurant; the interior is actually quite lovely and welcoming. Since it was our first experience with Hot Pot, we were a bit uncertain about how it all worked, but the owner and server guided us through the entire process effortlessly. Overall, it was a fantastic introduction to Hot Pot, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. In addition to their Hot Pot offerings, they also have a wide selection of traditional Chinese stir-fry dishes.

In terms of the food, the hot pot did not meet our expectations. We were hoping for an authentic Sichuan-style experience that would deliver the perfect combination of spiciness and numbness, but we were quite let down. Honestly, I could have prepared a much better hot pot at home with ingredients from T&T. While the prices were fair, the lackluster service and subpar food will certainly deter me from returning to this restaurant.

One of my wife and I's favorite places to eat! Whether for lunch or dinner (the menu is the same), the owner never lets us down. The prices are excellent, and the portions are generous—there's no way you’ll leave here hungry. The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beef, which exceeded my expectations! Additionally, they offer a vegan pot option as well. Overall, I would give the food a perfect rating of 5 out of 5!

This lovely little restaurant serves delicious food at great prices. I had the Kung Pao chicken, and it was amazing! The tofu dish also looked wonderful. If you're looking for budget-friendly Chinese food, this is the place to be!

This is the best Chinese restaurant in North Vancouver. We really enjoy the individual hot pots with beef and lamb slices, along with a variety of mixed vegetables, making it a healthy option for our family and friends.
