L'Isola - Reserva de mesa

Die, gemäss Servicepersonal heute eingeführte Sommerkarte, lässt quantitativ sehr zu wünschen übrig! Fr. 24.50 für 5 kleine Stückchen Melone und drei Scheibchen Parmaschinken und auch das Roastbeef mit Salat ist mit Fr. 25.50 eher im oberen Preissegment angesiedelt. Als wir den Patron darauf ansprachen, reagierte er sehr unfreundlich und zeigte null Verständnis. Wir werden dieses Restaurant mit Sicherheit nicht mehr aufsuchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

One of the best pasta/Italian experiences in Fribourg, if not the best. Easy going staff, plenty of space, great quality food. A rather business-like ambiance/clientèle at lunch. I would give the place a 5th star if they could make the place warmer, a bit more cosy. Of note, address the boss as Maestro . Try Monsieur and you won 't get far. But please don 't tell anyone I said this. Enjoy!
