My mom ordered the Little Dog Diner breakfast, which included eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns. My dad was thrilled to be back at his old haunt from when it used to be the Donut Dinette, and he really enjoyed his breakfast platter. Since he's quite particular about food, it was fantastic to see him have such a positive experience! I had the waffle with eggs and chose spam and tater tots as sides. It was delicious, especially the waffle paired with their special bourbon butter maple syrup! My husband ordered the crab cakes with eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit. This place is easy to miss if you're just driving by. I've driven by many many times and this is the first time we've stopped in. We will definitely be back! Right now it is open from 7:00 until 2:00 7 days a week. They have breakfast brunch and lunch options. We ordered waffles with scrambled eggs and country ham. at the restaurant, we informed our server that there was egg shell in one of dishes. when we got home, we found even more egg shell. totally disappointed with our visit today. not sure if this was a new cook or just hung over. we've never had egg shell in our breakfast over 10 year from multiple places. will not go back with so many other other options! 738 W 22nd St, Norfolk, VA 23517, eggs up. way better

I've passed this place so many times and finally had the chance to stop in for lunch. Service was fantastic and the portions were huge! The tuna salad on crossiant was fantastic. The croissant was flaky and soft and buttery and the tuna salad was delicious! We got two kids meals as well. This is a fantastic little diner with both indoor and outdoor seating. They serve the best chicken and waffles in the area, and honestly, all the food was incredibly delicious. Our service was outstanding; our server was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. I would give it a 10/10 and definitely recommend it!

Hands down the best breakfast I?ve had in Hampton roads! This place really was an awesome try and we will definitely be back to enjoy. There?s outdoor seating, indoor and screened porch to choose from. The staff here are excellent at what they do and how they do it. We can?t wait to try more on the menu!

This is a charming little mom-and-pop diner that really delivers. It's slightly on the pricey side, but the food is excellent. I enjoyed an omelet with tomatoes, bacon, and cream cheese, while my daughter had a BLT with avocado. We also shared some onion rings, which were delightful.

Carl is efficient and funny, making great food recommendations to customers. The creamy tomato and bacon omelet delicious! Service is great. Waiters/waitress do a lot of banter, so sit at the bar if you can!
